Little appliances are used in daily matters for making tasks easier and to accomplish them quickly. The little appliance includes telephones, CD or DVD players, alarm clocks or kitchen stuff, like toaster, juicer or microwave oven etcetera. Most of these little appliances run on electricity and are used to reduce the time required to accomplish the work. Time has become very precious and important in the present age of hustle and bustle. People like to spend time at fruitful places and want to cut short the time required to do unimportant stuff, like using stove for cooking food. So, instead of using the traditional methods of cooking, they prefer using microwave ovens to save time. Similarly, cordless telephone sets are also increasingly used by many people because they consider it easier to carry phone all around the house and do their task along with taking on phone. Similarly, another good example of little appliance is washing machine. We normally do not realize that how much dependent we have become on this little appliance.
Today, nobody would know how to wash clothes without a washing machine. It has become an important part of the home appliances. Likewise, refrigerator is another example of little appliance that I most commonly used by every person on earth. Without refrigerators, we cannot manage to store our food. So, we may say that little appliances have brought great revolution in today’s man. One big example of little appliance is the camera or camcorder. It is the best companion f good times. One would surely wish to preserve the beautiful moments, like birthdays, weddings, marriage anniversaries and wonderful and memorable trip moments with family or friends. Still cameras and camcorders enable one to preserve these moments as such and keep them fresh in the minds. Mobile phones are also the example of little appliance. It is probably the most commonly used little appliance of the present age, which is used by both young and old. Talking of youngsters, various gaming consoles are also the desire of every game lover. Gaming consoles are also little appliance which is the companion of its user at ample time. People play games when they are free and do not have anything to do. Thus, they entertain themselves with games to kill time and recreate and refresh themselves. In this way, they gain entertainment instead of boredom. Talking of little appliances in kitchen, there are also electric kettles and toasters to make tasks easier. Similarly, the vacuum cleaners are also a good example of little appliance. Vacuum cleaners are found in every house. These are used for cleaning the house in the most efficient, quicker and appropriate way. The little appliances are used to minimize the work load from the user and to save his time. Other little appliances which are commonly in use are cloth dryers, air conditioners, dishwashers, blenders, mixers, windows, electric doors, like garage doors etcetera and many more. Thus, we may say that applied science has really helped today’s man to carryout his tasks efficiently and easily in the form of little appliance.
